From Booking to Gallery Delivery: What to Expect When You Work With Me



Booking a session can feel overwhelming—what’s the process? What do I need to do? What happens after I book? I get it, and that’s why I’ve created a super simple, stress-free experience from start to finish.

If you're considering booking a session with me, here’s exactly what you can expect. ✨


Step 1: Booking Your Session


Whether you're dreaming of a golden hour family session, a sunny beach session, or want to book with a friend for minis, the first step is easy—just click the Book Now link!

You’ll find my calendar linked in:

  • My Instagram bio

  • My website under the Pricing tab

Once you’re in the calendar, you can browse through available dates, select the one that works best for your family, and get started with the booking process.



Step 2: Contract, Questionnaire & Deposit


After selecting your date, you’ll be prompted to:

✔️ Sign your session contract

✔️ Complete the About Your Family questionnaire (this is one of my favorite parts—it helps me learn what makes your crew special so I can tell your story authentically!)

✔️ Pay your session deposit


Once that’s done, you’ll receive a confirmation email with everything you need to prepare for your session—including my Family Session Guide and a link to book your Styling Appointment.




Step 3: Styling Support (aka Let’s Make You Look Amazing)


The styling appointment link will take you to a calendar—please be sure to choose a date at least 4 weeks before your session so we have plenty of time to prep.

Once your style appointment date arrives, I’ll create a personalized mood board just for your family, and we’ll work together to build your perfect session look using:

  • Pieces you already own

  • My client closet (available to borrow!)

  • Suggestions with links to shop through my LTK


We’ll make sure everyone feels confident, coordinated, and comfortable—no matchy-matchy required.



Step 4: The Final Countdown


You’ll receive a reminder email 24 hours before your session with all the details: the exact location, start time, and a little checklist to make sure you’re ready to go. Your remaining balance is due at this time as well.


Step 5: Session Day – Let’s Make Magic ✨


My sessions are lifestyle-focused, which means we’ll capture the real stuff—snuggles, giggles, messy hair, and all the in-between moments that make your family who you are.

Don’t worry about stiff posing—I’ll guide you every step of the way. We’ll play, connect, and create a gallery full of love, joy, and real connection.



Step 6: After Your Session


Once your session wraps, you’ll receive an email with info about:

  • How to print your images

  • Best practices for sharing on social media

  • And why it’s so important to actually enjoy your photos off-screen



Step 7: Your Gallery is Ready!


Galleries are delivered within 4 weeks of your session via an online gallery where you can:

  • View and download your full set of edited images

  • Order professional-quality prints directly through my lab (Millers)

  • Or print on your own (I recommend Mpix for best results—matte prints, no color correction!)


Why Printing Matters


Your photos were made to be seen—not just scrolled through once and forgotten. Hanging family images in your home boosts your children’s self-esteem, strengthens emotional connections, and turns your house into a space filled with warmth and love.



So please, print them. Frame them. Make a yearbook. I promise, your future self will thank you.
