Sometimes, parents decide to step out of the frame and just want updated photos of their children—because let’s face it, they grow so fast. Sibling sessions are a perfect way to freeze time and capture your kids just as they are right now, in all their silly, snuggly, wild, and wonderful glory.
Whether you're planning a session for back-to-school, seasonal portraits, or just because you haven't updated the frames in your hallway in a while, here's what to expect:
Individual & Group Shots
We'll start by capturing each child individually so you have a beautiful, updated portrait of everyone. I love highlighting each child’s personality and letting them shine in their own unique way. Then, we’ll move into group shots—lots of snuggles, holding hands, and fun interaction that showcases the bond between siblings.
Movement, Play & Natural Smiles
I bring energy and playfulness to these sessions. We’ll move around a lot—running, spinning, tickling, piggyback rides, or playing games like “whisper something silly in your sister’s ear.” The goal is always to capture natural smiles and genuine giggles, never forced or stiff poses.
Low Pressure, High Fun
These sessions are relaxed, lighthearted, and kid-focused. There’s no pressure for perfection here—just real moments, real laughs, and real connection. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to keep kids engaged and comfortable so they can be themselves in front of the camera.
Why It’s Worth It
The sibling bond is such a special one, and it deserves to be documented. These images make beautiful gifts for grandparents, keepsakes for photo albums, or simply a way to celebrate your kids at this season in their lives.
So if you’re not quite ready for a full family session but want to capture your kids growing and glowing, a sibling session is the perfect fit. Let’s create some magic—just the little ones and their one-of-a-kind connection.
