🎉 Fun Fact Friday: It's My Birthday!

Happy Friday, friends—and happy birthday to me! 🎈 Earlier this week (July 8th!) was my birthday, and in honor of that, here's a little get-to-know-your-photographer fun fact.

I've always loved having a summer birthday—sunshine, pool parties, ice cream cakes...what's not to love? But I will admit, I sometimes felt a little left out seeing friends get those cool balloon bouquets at school during the year. (Summer birthday people, you know exactly what I'm talking about!)

Another fun fact: I was always the youngest in my friend group—I started school early and graduated high school at just 17. Because of that, I had to take summer school just to get my license so I could drive my junior year. Worth it? Definitely.

Despite all that, I'll always choose summer birthdays over winter birthdays because I would much rather be hot than cold any day! ☀️

Another quirky birthday fact about me? I've met SO many people over the years with my exact birthday—July 8th is surprisingly popular! Growing up, I often shared my birthday parties with at least one or two friends. Apparently, there’s something extra special about July birthdays!

This year, we'll keep things pretty quiet and low-key—we just moved to South Carolina (so many boxes!), and honestly, I'm just excited to see what new adventures lie ahead.
